Lackland Air Force Base (AFB) is the largest component of Joint Base San Antonio, which is located right in the middle of San Antonio, TX and only an hour away from Austin. With both towns so close there is no shortage of things to do both on and off base.

This center covers over 5 kilometers of walking and running trails, plus a paintball course. The shop rents all manner of outdoor recreation equipment as well as off-base trips, skydiving, fishing trips, zipline, challenge courses, motorcycle rides, and more! The center also takes park reservations for Stillman, Upson, Lion, and Stapleton Parks.
