The School Liaison Officer is located in the Airman and Family Readiness Center in Room 239, Building 2, Area A. Andrea Attaway-Young helps promote communication between local K-12 schools, military families, installation and surrounding communities to achieve academic success for military children. She educates local school districts on unique issues that affect military children such as frequent moves, deployments and Impact Aid benefits. The School Liaison Officer also supports ongoing base educational and recreational programs and training initiatives designed to enhance the military family lifestyle.
