Just got orders to Seymour Johnson Air Force Base? Located in the intercoastal plain of North Carolina, it's a beautiful place with much to discover. Start on base with a game of bowling, then head off base to explore the old Waynesboro Park and Historical Village or the Wayne County Museum to learn more about your new community. The areas surrounding Seymour Johnson Air Force Base have a wide variety of dining options for every palate, from barbecue and seafood at McCall's, to Peruvian fusion at Los Fogones, to burgers at 365 Bar and Grill, and Latin cuisine at Grisas, you're sure to find something for everyone in the group. When the weather is nice, Stony Creek Park and Old Waynesboro Park have great trails for you and your pets, and plenty of patios are dog friendly too.
