MilSpouses Spotlight
My husband has been in the Navy for almost nine years. My husband is in the Army. I am thankful for all the memories I have as a military spouse. My husband served 30 years in the Navy. He's now retired, but he gave his all to our country and I'm very proud of him and I'm very proud to be part of the military system. It's a constant reminder of the heart of my husband, his pride, his character, the fact that he chooses to sacrifice in service to others. Nothing makes me more proud. Supporting my husband, serving our country warms my heart. I just like being in the military life because we have been able to travel, meet a variety of people. And overall, deepening my relationship with my husband. Being a military spouse to me is being able to manage family, work, education, and appointments. It's not only taking care of the family members at home, but also with the military member and making sure that they're able to do their job with a sense of security, knowing that they're taking care of at home. And being able to go through these crazy adventures together. Honestly, even with the downs, I wouldn't change it for anything. Our family has blossomed. We have two beautiful children and count every minute we're together. Being a military spouse means that our family is part of something that is greater than ourselves. I can't imagine my life having turned out any other way. We're proud to be part of the huge military family.
