Welcome to Camp Lejeune in Jacksonville, North Carolina, home of Expeditionary Forces and Readiness since 1941. As a major hub for East Coast training, this historic base prepares warfighters for combat and humanitarian missions worldwide. Hosting roughly 120,000 active duty personnel, families, retirees, and civilians, Camp Lejeune is home to major commands like the 2nd Marine Expeditionary Force and MARSOC. If you're just arriving, enter through the Wilson Gate for the Visitor Control Center. Next, head to the reception center for DEERS and administrative check-in, and let the Military Housing Office help you get settled. Families will appreciate the rare perk of having on-base schools, guided by a dedicated school liaison to help you transition. And for everyday needs, the Commissary and Marine Exchange on Holcomb Boulevard have you covered. When it's time to unwind, you can enjoy facilities on Camp Lejeune and at neighboring Marine Corps Air Station New River, or hit the sand with seven and a half miles of private beaches right on base. With Jacksonville's vibrant food scene and the beautiful North Carolina coast waiting just outside the gates, there's always something to explore. Welcome to Camp Lejeune.
