Welcome to Hill Air Force Base, home of the 75th Air Base Wing. Hill Air Force Base supports the Ogden Air Logistics Complex, Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center, Air Force Active Duty 388th and Reserve 419th Fighter Wings, and more than 50 mission partners. The base employs more than 27,000 active duty personnel, civilians, and contractors, and oversees about 1 million acres and more than 1,700 facilities in northern Utah, just south of Ogden. Bordered by the colorful Wasatch Mountains to the east and the Great Salt Lake to the west, you'll find plenty of natural beauty at your new duty station. If you're just arriving on orders, enter through any one of the gates and check in with your command, unit, and or sponsor. If you have civilian visitors coming to see you, they will need to stop at the Visitor Control Center at the main gate to register for their unaccompanied passes. Off duty, you'll have plenty to do without leaving base. You'll find favorites like a round of golf, bowling, arts and crafts, and more. Ogden offers ample recreational activities just outside the gates with restaurants, museums, nightclubs, and so much more. Looking to get outside? Jesse D. Barlow Park and Chelsea Meadows Park are a few local gems. Hill Air Force Base has many resources available, so take advantage and enjoy your time at your new duty station.
