Information
Welcome to Kiesler Air Force Base, located on the Gulf Coast in Biloxi, Mississippi. The base is one of the Air Force's largest technical training wings, under control of the Air Force's Air Education and Training Command, AETC, and home to the 81st Training Wing and 403rd Wing. The base has a runway measuring 7,631 feet, supports nearly 5,000 military, 1,625 civilians, and 4,763 family members. Near Biloxi and the communities of Gulfport and Ocean Springs, you'll find support both on and off base. If you're just arriving on orders, enter through any one of many gates and check in with your command, unit, and or sponsor. If you have civilian visitors coming to see you, they will need to stop at the Visitor Control Center at the main gate to register for their unaccompanied passes. Off duty, you'll find much to do, like a round of golf, a game of bowling, or camping. Just outside the gate in Biloxi, you'll find restaurants, museums, casinos, entertainment, and more. When the weather is nice, enjoy the outdoors at Hiller Park or Biloxi Beach. Heisler Air Force Base has many resources ready to make your time at the base memorable.
