Welcome to Naval Air Station Pensacola, cradle of naval aviation and home to the iconic Blue Angels. Established in 1914 as the Navy's very first aviation training station, NAS Pensacola is where every naval aviator, flight officer, and enlisted air crewman begins their journey. Today, nearly 60,000 students across all branches graduate from training programs annually. New to base? Start at the Visitor Control Center, located at the main gate on Murray Road. From there, the Resource Support Center and Military Housing Office can help you find your bearings on base, while the Commissary and Navy Exchange have everything you need to settle in. When the weekend rolls around, you'll find plenty to do on base at NAS Pensacola, including parks and nature trails, arenas for boating and fishing, stunning beaches, and interesting historical sites to explore, like the National Naval Aviation Museum. And when you're ready for a break from base, NAS Pensacola is the perfect launching point for exploring all that the Gulf Coast has to offer, from beautiful beaches and outdoor adventures to family-friendly museums and more. Welcome aboard!
