About MCAS New-River

Welcome to Marine Corps Air Station New River in North Carolina. MCAS New River provides aviation support, force protection, infrastructure, and community services to promote the readiness, sustainment, and quality of life for the II Marine Expeditionary Force, and other military forces, tenant commands, personnel, and their families. The base supports and enhances the combat readiness of the Marine Corps Aviation Combat Element and Department of Defense units. The base is home to Marine Aircraft Group 29, Marine Aircraft Group 26, and other tenant units.
