About MCAS New River

Welcome to Marine Corps Air Station New River, the East Coast hub for Marine rotary-wing and tiltrotor aviation. The base is home to Marine Aircraft Group 29, Marine Aircraft Group 26, and other tenant units. MCAS New River provides support for the II Marine Expeditionary Force, and other military forces and tenant commands aboard Camp Lejeune.

MCAS New River is located in Jacksonville, NC, immediately adjacent to Camp Lejeune. These two installations are technically separate but are completely connected physically and are operationally entwined. This guide focuses primarily on the facilities located on MCAS New River.
