About NAS JRB Fort Worth

Welcome to Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base Fort Worth! NAS JRB Fort Worth is the successor to Naval Air Station Dallas and incorporates other Reserve commands and activities, primarily those of the Air Force Reserve, that was present on site when the installation was known as Carswell Air Force Base. The facility was formerly under the Strategic Air Command (SAC) and was later transferred to the Air Combat Command (ACC). NAS JRB Fort Worth is the headquarters of the Air Force Reserve Command’s Tenth Air Force and is home to the 301st Fighter Wing and the 136th Air Wing of the Texas Air National Guard.
