About Schofield Barracks/Wheeler Army Airfield

Welcome to Schofield Barracks home to the headquarters of the US Army Garrison Hawaii, on the beautiful island of Oahu, Hawaii! The garrison can be traced back to as early as 1908, however, the post grew quickly during World War II. The installation has filled various support roles for the Pacific and is the home of the 25th Infantry Division (Light), US Army Support Command Hawaii, the 45th Corps Support Group (Forward), and the US Army Law Enforcement Command (Prov). The garrison is headquartered at Wheeler Army Airfield and serves nearly 100,000 soldiers, civilians, and family members stationed on the islands of Hawaii.
