On May 1, 2007, the Air Force Academy’s housing privatized and the housing and associated infrastructure was conveyed to our privatization partner, Forest City-Hunt LLC and AFAMC. Since 2007, the community has been changing with new construction in Upper Douglass Valley and most recently with the decisions to keep more than 250 homes in Pine Valley on-line and to renovate Pine Valley interiors, to start renovating mid-grade Douglass Valley homes and to design and install landscaping improvements.

Our community sits nestled in the National Forest setting that makes the Air Force Academy unique. In addition to featuring many hiking and biking trails, these neighborhoods have multiple playgrounds, landscape services in all non-fenced areas, snow removal, 24/7 maintenance service and some of the best schools in the area.
