Outdoor Recreation (ODR) is the hub for FamCamp, Crockett Cove and Dogwood Ridge cabins, Marina, Equipment Rental, RV/boat storage, pavilion rental, licenses, permits, and discounted tickets (ITT – Information, Tickets, and Travel). The main office is located on Westover Road and is the check in point for all areas. Patrons must have access through the Arnold Village Security Gate, or be accompanied by someone who does, to utilize ODR. Check the Outdoor Rec brochure for pricing and details.

Located on the Tims Ford Reservoir, the 3,546-acre Tims Ford State Park sits in the shadows of the Cumberland Plateau in south-central Tennessee. The Tims Ford Lake is considered one of the most picturesque lakes in Tennessee and is regarded as one of the top bass fishing and recreational lakes in the Southeast.

Fairview Campground, also known as the Devils Steps Campground, is located eight miles away from the main park. The 82 campsites have 20, 30, 50-amp electrical hookups and water hookups. Sewer hookups are available on 31 sites. A dump station and bathhouse with hot showers are centrally located. Wi-Fi is available. Each site includes a table and a fire ring with a grill.

Splash Island is an outdoor pool operated by Tullahoma Parks and Recreation. Originally an Olympic sized pool built in the late 1970s, Splash Island reopened in June of 2015 after undergoing a complete renovation. The new multi-use pool includes a splash pad, three 25 foot tall water slides, and a 300 foot lazy river. The concession stand offers plenty of poolside treats as well as healthy and fresh options.

Galaxy Skate Family Fun Center is a 24,000 sq ft. multi-attraction Family Fun Center offering public skating and party room packages for birthdays, corporate and community group events. Galaxy Skate Family Fun Center is your go-to spot for skating fun!

With over 30 acres, Waggoner Park contains three baseball fields, a softball field, two batting cages, and a large multipurpose field used for Rugby and Youth Football. There are also two picnic pavilions and many other areas to picnic in the shade of the many trees.

Machine Falls Loop Trail is located in Tullahoma, Tennessee, and is recommended for hikers of all ages and skill levels. It’s not wildly difficult to trek through this chunk of the Tennessee wilderness, found in Short Springs State Natural Area.

Children run, play, imagine, interact, and stay busy on Imagination Station Playground equipment designed for all ages. Imagination Station Playground, located behind City Hall, has a caboose and train platform to explore, sandbox, stationary exercise equipment, pickleball courts, a free library stand located in front of the restrooms, and a rentable pavilion.

Arnold Golf Course is Arnold Air Force Base’s military golf course, located near the end of Wattendorf Highway going toward Tullahoma, however, the course has obtained a waiver and is open for public play. The course offers 9 holes with two sets of tees, making it an 18 hole round. The course also has a full driving range, practice chipping and putting greens, and practice bunker. The Pro Shop has golf gear, club rentals, and golf cart rentals.

The Bear Trace at Cumberland Mountain is one of the most sought-after sites among the Jack Nicklaus-designed Bear Trace courses in Tennessee. The 6,900-yard (gold tees), par 72 layout features a design that capitalizes on elevation changes as well as natural features such as flowing brooks and clustered, mature pines. As is typical in Jack Nicklaus Signature courses, there are many risk/reward opportunities for all levels of golfers.

Scenic View Golf Course is family owned and operated. The tees and fairways are Bermuda, but the greens are Bent Grass. There is a putting and chipping green for practicing. The staff is friendly and experienced in the game of golf.

The Arnold Fitness Center is located between gate 2 and the main gate on Wattendorf Highway. The facility is equipped with a basketball/volleyball court, racquetball court, exercise machines, free weights, Alpha Warrior station, men’s and women’s locker rooms, and saunas. Bicycle check out and group classes, such as yoga, interval training, and cycling are also available.

Called Tennessee’s Biltmore by PBS, Falcon Rest was built in 1896 by Gorilla Pants manufacturer Clay Faulkner, who promised his wife “the grandest mansion in Tennessee.” Today, the 10,000 sq. ft. mansion is filled with museum quality Victorian antiques, and some say it’s presided over by a friendly ghost.
