The base’s Community Center is a great place to relax and have fun. Located on the second floor of the Drop Zone, the center hosts a number of special events, including video game contests, table sports tournaments, holiday events, dances, movies, instructional classes, and more. The Norman & Vi Petty Rock & Roll Museum showcases studio equipment from the nearby Norman Petty recording studio used by renowned musicians like Buddy Holly, Buddy Knox, Roy Orbison, and other early rock and roll greats.
