Missouri School Enrollment

To be enrolled in a Missouri school, a child must be at least 5 years old before Aug. 1 of the school year. A child is also eligible for admission to kindergarten if they are a military dependent and have successfully completed an accredited prekindergarten program or have attended an accredited kindergarten program in another state. Registration typically requires a birth certificate or other proof of the child's age and the child's previous school records and immunization records.
