At Tinker AFB, military family housing is privatized. In addition to your option to purchase and rent housing in the local community, you may choose to live in privatized housing by signing a tenant lease agreement with Balfour Beatty Communities, which owns the family housing and is responsible for constructing, maintaining, repairing, and managing the community.
Tinker AFB’s military family housing communities offer a variety of house styles and floor plans. Neighborhoods provide easy access to playgrounds, picnic facilities, athletic facilities, trails, and base recreation facilities.
School-age children living in Tinker AFB military housing attend schools in the Mid-Del School District.
