Located on the southeast side of Washington D.C., the installation is just off of I-295 and supports over 17,000 military personnel and civilians. It sits on 1,018 acres in between the Potomac and Anacostia rivers. The JBAB housing options are also plentiful here, and we’re sure you’ll find something to meet your needs. The community around JBAB embraces its military neighbors, and you’ll be sure to feel welcome as you settle into the JBAB housing neighborhoods or the surrounding area. All ranks above this may also be eligible depending on availability in unaccompanied housing. Your accommodations in the JBAB barracks include one or two-person rooms based on your pay grade. Linens will be provided once you check in, and lounges in each facility include televisions, washer/dryers, and vending machines. Bolling Family Homes at Hunt Military Communities
One of the options you’ll have for on-base housing is the Bolling Family Homes communities. The housing here is privatized and owned by Hunt Military Communities. You’ll be smack dab in the center of historic Washington, D.C., here and enjoy the pricing and quality of living that is the standard with Hunt Housing. JBAB personnel and their families will be taken care of with many great amenities in their homes and within the community itself. A gated community, softball fields, riverfront park, walking paths, fitness center, 24-hour emergency maintenance, and landscaping services are just some of the amenities offered in the Bolling Family Homes communities. The area around the Bellevue housing community is full of a wide range of activities, attractions, and historic sites. You’ll find plenty to do within the historic districts around Bellevue housing. JBAB is just north of the community here, making for prime convenience. Plus, you’ll be just 4 miles from the National Harbor Marina for a day of shopping, dining, and entertainment. Bellevue housing is privatized and owned by Lincoln Military Housing. JBAB personnel can enjoy plenty of comforts in this community, as it serves E1-E9 and affiliated civilians. The townhomes that make up Bellevue housing are pet friendly and even include a fenced-in backyard where they run free. The community itself has plenty of amenities, as well, that include basketball courts, tennis courts, playgrounds, picnic areas, grilling stations, a clubhouse, and so much more. There’s an emphasis on togetherness in this community, and Lincoln Military Housing provides a well-maintained neighborhood for you and your family once you transfer to JBAB. Housing maintenance is also provided 24 hours a day, every day. The housing here is all included in one big neighborhood that offers two- to 3-bedroom townhomes.
