Welcome aboard Naval Station Mayport in Florida. Naval Station Mayport is the third-largest naval facility in the United States and one of three major Navy installations in the area. Directions to Mayport Naval Station

Naval Station Mayport is located in northeastern Florida's Duval County. The base is next to the Atlantic Ocean at the mouth of the St. Johns River. Naval Station Mayport is found just outside the city of Jacksonville, south of the small fishing village of Mayport, and north of the city of Atlantic Beach. The closest major airport is Jacksonville International Airport, which is about 25 miles from the base.

Driving Directions From Jacksonville International Airport

1. Take Interstate 95 south toward Jacksonville.
2. Take Exit 362 A and merge onto Interstate 295 south. Stay on I-295 for approximately 10 miles.
3. Take Exit 45 toward Merrill Road. Keep right to continue toward Merrill Road, make a slight left onto Merrill Road, then continue onto Fort Caroline Road.
4. Continue onto McCormick Road (pass by the McDonald's on the left after 1.1 miles). Continue onto Mt. Pleasant Road, then continue onto Wonderwood Drive.
5. Use the left two lanes to turn onto Mayport Road. The main gate is on this road.
