School Age Care
A School Age Care program is available for children in kindergarten through sixth grade. Hours of operation are 6:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Sports, arts and crafts, science, cooking, homework and computer lab are available. A completed registration packet, with nonrefundable registration fee, is required to reserve a space. Part-day Enrichment Preschool Program
A part-day enrichment preschool program is available at both the Port Hueneme and Point Mugu Child Development Centers to prepare potty-trained children ages 3 to 5 for kindergarten. Two class schedules are available: 9 a.m. to noon Tuesday and Thursday; and 9 a.m. to noon Monday, Wednesday and Friday. The classes are conducted September through May. Call the Child Development Center for additional information.
