MCAS Cherry Point Family HomesAtlantic Marine Corps Communities has nearly 1,500 homes across seven neighborhoods to choose from, with floor plans that range from two to four bedrooms. On-base housing boasts pet-friendly neighborhoods with amenities like dog parks, playgrounds, sports fields, tennis and basketball courts, swimming pools, fitness centers, and a community center. Residents in MCAS Cherry Point Family Homes can enjoy the convenience of 24/7 on-site management and maintenance, curbside trash and recycling pick-up, lawn care services, and more. School-age children living in MCAS Cherry Point Family Homes will enroll and attend schools in the Craven County Public Schools district. These are not Department of Defense schools; they’re part of the school districts in nearby Craven County. 1. Adams Townhome
Ranks:E1-E5, non-active duty The Slocum Village gated community includes Adams Townhome where residents enjoy two stories of living across 1,115 square feet. The upstairs master bedroom has a large walk-in closet and an adjacent bedroom also offers a large closet. The downstairs has an open concept with a living room, dining room and kitchen. Laundry, storage and an attached garage are also on the first floor.
Nugent Cove Legacy
Ranks:E1-E9, non-active duty The Appleton four-bedroom homes in the Nugent Cove Legacy neighborhood are outfitted with a fully equipped kitchen, master suite, screened-in porch and carport. The single-story homes offer residents plenty of living space and are located in close proximity to many of the base’s amenities.
Ranks:E1-E9, non-active duty The Horton three-bedroom homes in the Nugent Cove Legacy neighborhood are outfitted with similar layouts and space. The major difference is that the space designated for a fourth bedroom in the Appleton homes has been replaced with more living space.
Ranks:E1-E5 Nugent Cove’s Champagne residents are living in a lap of luxury in these new and modern three-bedroom homes. Amenities such as an attached garage, screened-in porch, living and family rooms on the first floor, designated dining room and spacious laundry room are included. This neighborhood is near the community pool, fitness center and more.
Ranks:E8-E9 With over 2,000 square feet of living space, Nugent Cove’s Kellogg residents have ample room in these new and modern four-bedroom homes. Amenities such as an attached garage with extra storage, screened-in porch, living and family rooms on the first floor, designated dining room and spacious laundry/mud room are included.
Ranks:E1-E5 The spacious Johnson homes in the Binder Oaks neighborhood offers four-bedroom homes with ample closets and storage space, a fully equipped kitchen, master suite, garage and screened-in patio. Residents also enjoy easy access to multiple playgrounds and sport courts and fields.
Ranks:E1-E5 The Williams homes provide residents with three large bedrooms and tons of storage space in the Binder Oaks’ neighborhood. The duplex has a fully equipped galley-style kitchen, master suite, garage and screen-in patio. You can easily walk to many of the base’s amenities from this neighborhood.
Grant’s Landing - Presidents Cove
Ranks:E6-E9, non-active duty The Ballard homes in the Grant’s Landing neighborhood offers three-bedroom homes with two full bathrooms and a half bath, ample living space, a fully equipped galley-style kitchen, master suite, garage and screen-in patio. Residents also enjoy easy access to multiple playgrounds and sport courts and fields.
Ranks:E6-E9, non-active duty The spacious Edwards homes in the Grant’s Landing neighborhood offers four-bedroom homes with ample closets and storage space, a fully equipped kitchen, master suite, large closets throughout, oversized living spaces, attached garage and screened-in patio.
Grant’s Landing - Capehart’s
Ranks:E6-E9, O1-O3, non-active duty The roomy, single-story Ford homes offer three bedrooms with ample closets and storage space, a galley kitchen with large countertops, master suite, designated family room, attached garage and screened-in patio.
Ranks:E6-E9 The generously sized, single-story Kennedy homes offer four bedrooms with large closets, a galley kitchen with large countertops that connects to the attached garage, master suite, designated family room that could be used as an office or guest room and screened-in patio.
Ranks:O4-O6 The generously sized, two-story Bauer homes offer four bedrooms, three and a half bathrooms, large closets, a fully equipped kitchen, an expansive master suite, large bedrooms and a covered front patio.
