MCAS NEW RIVER BASE HOUSING: 8 ON-BASE OPTIONS
By Andrew Karcher
IntroductionWelcome to Marine Corps Air Station New River, located in Jacksonville, North Carolina. In 2014, Forbes ranked Jacksonville as the fifth-fastest growing small city in the United States. This is largely attributed to the military presence, as Jacksonville is also home to nearby Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, the largest Marine base on the east coast. Jacksonville is adjacent to the Crystal Coast, an 85-mile stretch of coastline that is a popular tourist destination in the summer. We hope this on-base guide for MCAS New River base housing provides a valuable resource.
