Moody AFB Housing Options

At Moody AFB, military family housing is privatized. Housing eligibility is based on rank and family size. They currently have two private owners. Hunt Military Communities and Balfour Beatty Communities (BBC). They own the family housing and are responsible for maintaining, repairing, constructing and managing the community. In addition to your option to purchase and rent housing in the local community, you now may choose to live in privatized housing by signing a tenant lease agreement with Hunt Military Communities or Balfour Beatty Communities (BBC).

1. Magnolia Grove

  • Beds: 3 – 4
  • Baths: 2.5
  • Eligibility: E1 – E9; O1 – O6
Magnolia Grove is made up of single-family homes, is pedestrian-friendly and offers mature landscaping and plenty of green spaces. Nothing beats visiting a new home in person, so we encourage you to contact them to arrange a tour.

2. Quiet Pines

  • Beds: 2 – 4
  • Baths: 1 – 2.5
  • Eligibility: E1 – E9; O1 – O10
Quiet Pines is their most diverse community and is made up of single-family homes. Quiet Pines offers the best in modern living. Surrounded by the beautiful Quiet Pines Golf Course and walking trails, this neighborhood is pedestrian and pet-friendly.

3. Azalea Commons

  • Beds: 2 – 4
  • Baths: 2.5
  • Eligibility: E1 – E9; O1 – O5
The Azalea Commons neighborhood is walking distance to the community center which has a fitness center and kids room, as well as a swimming pool, playground and variety of sports courts. All of the shopping, dining and conveniences of downtown Valdosta are just minutes from this beautiful neighborhood. ADA homes are available in the 4-bedroom model.

4. Mission Point

  • Beds: 4
  • Baths: 2.5
  • Eligibility: E9; O5 – O6 (Key & Essential only)
Mission Point offers 4-bedroom two-story single-family homes for designated key and essential personnel stationed at Moody AFB. These homes feature a fully equipped kitchen with energy efficient appliances, central heating and air conditioning, ample closets and storage space, two car garage and fenced-in backyard. Conveniently located on base within close proximity to the Shoppette, BX Base Exchange, Mission Point neighborhood amenities include a playground and pavilion with BBQ grill.
