UH is provided for unaccompanied Airmen in the ranks of E-1 to E-3 and E-4 with less than 3 years of service. Each Airman is provided a private sleeping room, furnishings, bed linens and supplies required for comfortable living. (Room arrangements may vary depending on location). Unaccompanied Airmen in the rank of E-4 with greater than 3 years of service and above will move into housing in the local community. The permanent party UH campus at Wright-Patterson AFB consists of 5 buildings for Permanent Party Airmen (406 rooms) and 1 building for Pipeline Students. Amenities include the dining facility and running track centrally located within the dorm campus. Wright-Patterson’s government housing inventory consists of 100 three and four bedroom Officer and General Officer's units. Housing amenities include private fenced yards with a patio and single detached garages. Many of the units at the Brick Quarters are designated for Key and Essential personnel. Occupants may only have two pets. Applications can be submitted online through HEAT (Housing Early Assistance Tool). Applications can also be submitted upon arrival during your first visit to the MHO. MHO staff will be able to assist in the completion of the application and will review PCS orders and housing options with you. For walk-in applications, as long as you apply for government housing within 30 days of arrival, you will be placed on the waiting list effective the date you departed from your previous installation. After 30 days, the application date will be the date of the walk-in. Properties are adjacent to The Club, swimming pool, Dodge Gym, tennis court. The Military Housing Office should be your first point of contact when you get to Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, whether you’re going to live on or off the installation. Contact the MHO as soon as you know you are moving to Wright Patterson Air Force Base. When you arrive at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, you must visit the MHO to receive counseling and guidance before entering into any written lease or rental/sales contract for housing. Wright-Field at Wright Patterson Air Force Base
On-base housing at Wright Patterson Air Force Base is privatized through The Wright Field Development Company. Corvias is responsible for maintaining, repairing and managing the community. Click here to browse their communities at Wright-Patterson AFB, each of which offers its own floor plans and amenities. Homes range from 2-4 bedrooms and come in a wide variety of styles, with floor plans ranging from 1070 square feet to 2028 square feet. All floor plans feature between 1-2.5 baths. The Woods is a collection of duplex-style and single-family homes situated in a park-like setting with rolling hills and mature landscape. Homes feature fully-equipped kitchens, full-size washer/dryer connections, large yards, private driveways, and attached garages. Community amenities include a stocked fishing pond, Bark Park, Frisbee golf course, lighted basketball and tennis courts, jogging trails, and more than 40 playgrounds. There’s also a 3,200 sq. ft. community center.2. The Prairies
The Prairies feature a variety of housing options including Legacy Homes, Contemporary Townhomes, and Single-Family Homes. The Legacy collection offers spacious, versatile floor plans with large living areas and abundant storage spaces. These homes are situated in a unique courtyard setting with private patios, detached garages and exterior storage.
