House hunting under any conditions can be overwhelming but it’s amplified when you’re moving somewhere very remote that you’ve probably never been before. We’ve put together this guide to help you find out about the Andersen AFB housing options available on base.

Andersen AFB Barracks

Unaccompanied Personnel housing is for single or unaccompanied Airmen in the ranks of E1 to E3 and E4 with less than three years of service. Andersen AFB Housing Options

For families and those with a higher rank, you can contact the Housing Management Office (also known as Housing Service Center) at 1 (671) 366-2127 to check the availability of privatized housing for your rank and family size.

Andersen Air Force Base Family Homes

The government housing at Andersen AFB consists of 572 family housing units. In order to be assigned military family housing, you must have command sponsorship for your dependents. Upon arrival, please check in with your unit first and then check in to the Housing Service Center within 48 hours. The HSC will brief you on options for on- and off-base housing, and Temporary Lodging Allowances. On-base housing boasts pet-friendly neighborhoods with amenities like a self-help store, playgrounds, pavilions, swimming pools, and basketball courts. Residents in Andersen AFB housing can enjoy the convenience of on-site management and a quick commute to work, and a calendar full of resident activities and events. School-age children living in Andersen AFB housing will enroll and attend school at either Andersen Elementary School or Andersen Middle School. These are both Department of Defense schools. High school students attend school off base in local schools or can enroll at Guam High School at Nimitz Hill. You will need to submit an advance Application for Assignment to Housing and the Navy's Sex Offender Policy Acknowledgement and Disclosure form through the HSC at your losing installation and include a copy of your PCS orders. 1. Junior Enlisted 2 Bedroom

Ranks

: E1-E4 The two bedroom homes for Junior Enlisted personnel feature a variety of amenities within the unit’s 1,250 square feet, including one bathroom and two spacious bedrooms with large closets and big windows. Residents of these homes have a carport with exterior bulk storage and covered patio in addition to a dedicated dining or family room, laundry room and open-concept living room.

2. Junior Enlisted 3 Bedroom

: E1-E4 There aren’t many differences in the Junior Enlisted three bedroom homes compared to the two bedroom version. The units are slightly larger, 1,429 square feet, and feature three bedrooms and two bathrooms. Residents of these homes have a carport with exterior bulk storage and covered patio in addition to a separate laundry room, an open living/dining room and family room.

3. Junior Enlisted 4 Bedroom

: E1-E4 The 1,628 square feet four-bedroom homes for Junior Enlisted personnel are outfitted with a fully equipped kitchen, primary suite, covered patios and carport with extra storage. The four bedrooms are grouped to one side of the unit and the large family room, living/dining space and kitchen are situated on the other side.

4. Senior Enlisted 3 Bedroom

: E5-E9 The Senior Enlisted three bedroom homes are slightly larger than the Junior Enlisted homes at 1,621 square feet. The units feature three bedrooms and two bathrooms. Residents of these homes have a carport with exterior bulk storage and covered patio in addition to a separate laundry room, an open living/dining room and family room. Some layouts feature a closed-off family room that could be used as a bedroom or office.

5. Senior Enlisted 4 Bedroom

: E5-E9 The 1,861 square feet four-bedroom homes for Senior Enlisted personnel are outfitted with a fully equipped kitchen, primary suite, covered patios and carport with extra storage. The four bedrooms are grouped to one side of the unit and the large living room, dedicated dining area, family room and kitchen are situated on the other side.

6. Company Grade 2 Bedroom

: O1-O3 The two bedroom homes for Company Grade personnel feature a variety of amenities within the unit’s 1,524 square feet, including one bathroom and two spacious bedrooms with large closets and big windows. Residents of these homes have a carport with exterior bulk storage and covered patio in addition to a dedicated dining, family room, laundry room and open-concept living room and kitchen.

7. Company Grade 3 Bedroom

: O1-O3 The Company Grade three bedroom homes offer roughly 1,500 square feet of living space. The homes feature three bedrooms and two bathrooms. Residents of these homes have a carport with ample exterior bulk storage and a covered patio in addition to a dedicated laundry room, and an open living/dining room that extends from the large kitchen.

8. Company Grade 4 Bedroom

: O1-O3 With nearly 2,000 square feet of living space, the Company Grade four bedroom homes offer plenty of room to spread out. The homes feature four bedrooms and two bathrooms. Residents of these homes have a huge covered patio in addition to a dedicated laundry room with extra storage space, and an open living/dining room that extends from the large kitchen.

9. Field Grade 3 Bedroom

: O4-O6 The Field Grade three bedroom homes offer roughly 1,900 square feet of living space. The homes feature three oversized bedrooms and two bathrooms. Residents of these homes boast a covered patio in addition to a dedicated laundry room with additional storage space, and an open living/dining room and family room that connects to the galley-style kitchen.

10. Field Grade 4 Bedroom

: O4-O6 With nearly 2,000 square feet of living space, the Field Grade four bedroom homes offer plenty of room to spread out. The homes feature four bedrooms and two bathrooms. The primary suite provides residents with a walk-in closet and en suite bathroom. The homes include a huge covered patio in addition to a dedicated laundry room with bulk storage space, and a living/dining room that extends from the large, open kitchen.

11. Senior Officer 4 Bedroom

: E5-E9, O7+ With approximately 2,000 square feet of living space, the Senior Officer four bedroom homes offer plenty of living and entertaining space. The homes feature four large bedrooms and two bathrooms. The homes include a covered patio in addition to a dedicated laundry room, carport and, in most layouts, an open concept living/dining and family room space that connects to a large kitchen.

12. General Officer 4 Bedroom

: O7+ With over 3,200 square feet of living space, the General Officer four bedroom homes offer more than enough room to spread out. The homes feature four oversized bedrooms and three bathrooms. The homes include a huge covered patio in addition to a dedicated laundry room, carport and a ton of entertaining space across the large living room, dedicated dining room and separate kitchen.
