About Camp Allen

Welcome to Camp Allen Marine Base, located in Norfolk, Virginia. Camp Allen is a satellite base of Naval Station Norfolk, considered to be its southern annex, located near the downtown center of the city. The base is 15 acres, with about 1,400 personnel serving on base. Camp Allen is named after the CEC Captain Walter H. Allen, who founded the naval construction regiment during WWI.
