Welcome to Marine Corps Air Station Yuma in Arizona. MCAS Yuma is an aviation training base that provides access to more than 1 million acres of bombing and aviation-training ranges. MCAS Yuma supports 80 percent of the Marine Corps' air-to-ground aviation training. Twice a year, the air station hosts the Weapons and Tactics Instructor course. This seven-week course provides advanced tactical aviation training. MCAS Yuma's population includes approximately 4,000 active-duty Marines and sailors.
