Welcome to the Camp H.M. Smith Marine Corps base. Camp H.M. Smith serves as headquarters for Marine Corps Forces, Pacific and Fleet Marine Forces, Pacific. The base is also home to the Indo-Pacific Command. The base’s 224 acres were acquired by the Marine Corps in 1955. It is now considered part of Marine Corps Base Hawaii. - Take Aolele Street to Route 92 west.
- Turn left onto Route 92 west.
- Turn right onto Valkenburgh Street.
- Turn left onto Radford Drive.
- Turn right onto Bougainville Drive.
- Turn left onto Salt Lake Boulevard.
- Turn right onto Kahuapaani Street.
- Continue straight to stay on Kahuapaani Street.
- Continue onto Halawa Heights Road.
- Turn right onto Elrod Road. This will lead you to the Camp H.M. Smith gate.

Aiea
Aiea is found in Honolulu County. The community has a population of approximately 10,000. Aiea is home to Pearlridge Center, the largest enclosed shopping center in the state. The shopping venue hosts special events, a weekly farmers market, and the island’s only monorail. Aiea is also home to Keaiwa Heiau State Recreation Area and its Aiea Loop Trail. The 4.8-mile Aiea Loop Trail runs along the ridge on the west side of Halawa Valley. The island of Oahu has nearly perfect weather year-round. Day or night, summer temperatures stay in the 70s and 80s. In the winter, things don’t cool off too much, with average highs in the high 70s and average lows in the 60s. The island of Oahu gets approximately 13 inches of rain each year.
