At Columbus AFB, unaccompanied housing is available to enlisted ranks E-1 to E-3 and E-4 with less than 3 years of service. For unaccompanied Airmen of rank E-4 with greater than 3 years of service, they may find housing in the local community. Any personnel arriving on base after service hours will be assigned temporary living quarters until the next duty day. A private sleeping room, furnishings, bed linens, and supplies required for comfortable living are provided to every Airman. Smoking is allowed only in designated areas, and there are no pets allowed in the barracks. Amenities include kitchens with a stove, refrigerator, microwave, and all furniture. Occupants should bring all personal items such as pots, pans, and other kitchen items. No visitors are allowed after 11:00 p.m. The Unaccompanied Housing facilities strive to provide a personal residence that creates a comfortable, functional, and well-maintained home with a mission to take pride in the community.
