On-base housing boasts pet-friendly neighborhoods with amenities like playgrounds, swimming pools, sports fields, tennis and volleyball courts, splash parks, and a community center with fitness and playrooms. Residents in Cannon AFB Family Homes can enjoy the convenience of on-site management and maintenance, curbside trash and recycling pick-up, lawn care services, and a calendar full of resident activities and events. School-age children living in Cannon AFB Family Homes will enroll and attend schools in either the Clovis Municipal School District or Portales Municipal Schools. These are not Department of Defense schools; they’re part of the school districts in nearby Curry and Roosevelt counties. E7-E8, O1-O5 Air Commando Village’s three-bedroom and four-bedroom homes feature a variety of amenities, including a master suite, exterior storage and garage. Residents in this neighborhood enjoy easy access to multiple playgrounds and basketball courts, as well as the on-base fitness center, movie theater and restaurants located just minutes away.2. Chavez North
Ranks:
E1-E6 The three-bedroom and four-bedroom homes in the Chavez North neighborhood are outfitted with a fully equipped kitchen, master suite, fenced-in backyard, patio and garage. Located on the northern edge of the base, residents in Chavez North enjoy a variety of playgrounds and parks — including a dog park — as well as close proximity to the community center where you will find basketball and sand volleyball courts as well as the community pool.3.
