NAS Oceana BarracksNAS Oceana unaccompanied housing is available for single or unaccompanied service members in the ranks of E1 to E3 and E4 with less than 4 years of service. E4s may be required to live on base, space permitting. More senior service members and navy geo bachelors may also be eligible for unaccompanied housing. NAS Oceana Housing OfficeIf you will not be living in the dorms or barracks at NAS Oceana, the Navy Housing Service Center should be one of your first stops. This office offers relocation services and information and support for service members and families as they move to their new base.

NAS Oceana Military HousingAt NAS Oceana, military family housing is privatized. In addition to your option to purchase and rent housing in the local community, you may choose to live in privatized housing by signing a tenant lease agreement with Lincoln Military Housing, which owns the family housing and is responsible for constructing, maintaining, repairing, and managing the community. NAS Oceana's military family housing communities offer a variety of house styles and floor plans. Communities provide easy access to parks and play areas, as well as Virginia Beach and all its amenities and venues, including the boardwalk, the aquarium, and golf courses. School-age children living in NAS Oceana military housing may attend Virginia Beach City Public Schools. Applying for on-base housing is easy, but don't hesitate to contact the district housing office if you have questions.

The Communities at NAS Oceana
1. Windmills Walk
Ranks:O1-O5 Located at Dam Neck Annex, Windmills Walk is just a few steps away from the beach. This community offers recently renovated single-level homes with three to four bedrooms. Homes in this community have garages or carports, storage sheds, and fenced yards. Other amenities include stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, solid wood kitchen cabinets, and ceramic floors in the kitchen.
2. Fairway Crescent
Ranks:O1-O5 Fairway Crescent is located on NAS Oceana. Fairway Crescent's single-level duplex homes have three to four bedrooms. Homes in this community have fenced yards, covered parking, and storage units. The community is close to the base's golf course, water park, fitness center, theater, bowling alley, and other base recreational facilities.
3. Midway Manor
Ranks:E1-E9 Midway Manor has spacious homes with three to five bedrooms. Homes feature garages and fenced backyards. There is a pool adjacent to the district office at Midway Manor that is open to all residents of the Oceana District free of charge. Midway Manor is 9 miles from base and within walking distance of White Oaks Elementary School.
4. The Village at Midway Manor
Ranks:E1-E9 The Village at Midway Manor's spacious homes has three to five bedrooms and two-car garages. Homes have private fenced-in backward and storage sheds as well. The community is 9 miles from base.
5. Wadsworth Shores
Ranks:E1-E9 Wadsworth Shores has recently renovated two-story homes with three to four bedrooms. The community features a community center with gathering and meeting rooms and some ASYMCA classrooms. Wadsworth Shores is 3 miles from base.
