: 1 (601) 679-2616 At NAS Meridian, unaccompanied housing is available to E1 to E3 and E4 with less than four years of service. Depending on availability, senior personnel also have the opportunity to live in unaccompanied housing. All single service sailors must report to their unit to be assigned barracks space. Any personnel arriving on post after service hours will be assigned temporary living quarters until the next duty day. All sailors requiring Unaccompanied Enlisted Personnel Housing must also have a current (within 60 days) end-of-month Leave and Earning Statement. Your check-in point will be building 208. Accommodations are one to two-person rooms with linen provided, along with lounges in the facilities that include televisions, laundry facilities, and vending machines. Unaccompanied housing also includes fitness facilities, dining, recreational, and religious amenities, all typically within walking distance from your room. Before your move, be sure to gather the following documents: birth, marriage, and divorce certificates, medical records, education transcripts, travel orders, housing goods and shipping documents, the previous year’s tax returns, wills and estate titles, savings account documents, and spouse employment records. The first thing you will be required to do once you arrive at NAS Meridian, even if you plan to live off-post, is head to the Housing Division Office. There you will receive a warm welcome from a team of professionals looking to help take the stress out of relocating. You will get assistance here with all of your housing needs and any information you need on military relocation. The Housing Division Office provides services that will help you with referrals, relocation assistance, guidance for entering a lease agreement, and tenant-landlord disputes.

NAS Meridian Family Homes with Balfour Beatty Communities

NAS Meridian housing is privately owned by the Balfour Beatty Communities and serves Naval families stationed at NAS Meridian. We advise you to contact the Housing Management Office as soon as you know that you are moving to NAS Meridian. There, you will receive the latest information about housing and help with the application process from the government housing team. You will also be informed about post-specific policies related to NAS Meridian housing. You’ll be situated right on the station at NAS Meridian in the Family Housing communities in a wide variety of three- to four-bedroom floor plans. Amenities depend on the type of unit that you rent, but some amenities include updated finishes, ample storage and closet space, fully equipped kitchens, and master suites. The community itself offers some great walking paths and a pet-friendly environment. The gated community offers many amenities and community services that make your new posting really feel like home. Amenities include a community center with a playroom, dog park, lawn care services, any time maintenance, picnic areas, playgrounds, and walking paths. Applying for government housing is similar to living in local neighborhoods. You will sign a tenant lease agreement, typically for a one-year term. Your lease will include a military clause and a lease termination clause. Rent is paid by authorizing an allotment of your BAH that is paid directly to the Housing Division. If your family has school-aged children, there is no school on base. Any personnel living on base will send school-age children to Northeast Lauderdale Elementary School, Middle School, and High School. Bus transportation is provided for any student living on base. 1. Juniper Ridge Neighborhood

Ranks: E7-E9, O1-O5 You’ll have options of spacious three- or four-bedroom homes in this neighborhood within the NAS Meridian Family Homes. Amenities include central air, master suites, a porch, and exterior storage. You’ll have access to multiple playgrounds here and a dog park.

2. Pine Crest Neighborhood

Ranks: E1-E9 You’ll have your choice of either three- or four-bedroom units in the Pine Crest Neighborhood. Amenities include central air, master suites, and a covered patio. You will have access to multiple playgrounds here and are just a short walking distance from the community center.
