Welcome to Fort Sam Houston, TX, found in the heart of San Antonio. Otherwise known as Military City USA, the post is home to one of the strongest military communities in the country. Joint Base San Antonio-Fort Sam Houston was established in 2010 to help better serve the military. While Fort Sam is an Army post, the JBSA network also comprises Lackland AFB, Randolph AFB, and eight additional areas.
