1. Redwood Highway

Of all of the fun things to do in Eureka, California, exploring the stunning redwoods is a must. However, you don’t want to miss the ocean either. Driving along Redwood Highway allows you to experience both.

Not only do you get to explore many different areas near the city but as you’re driving through the Pacific coastline, there are plenty of opportunities to take diversions into deeper parts of the forest and enjoy the views.

Furthermore, there are several coastal communities along the way that can offer you a variety of entertainment. Who knows, you might even see Bigfoot!

2. Carson Mansion

Home of the Ingomar Club, it’s worth noting that there is no public access to the Carson Mansion. However, that doesn’t mean it’s not worth your time. The four-story, 18-room Victorian mansion is a hotspot for photographers. If you’d like to explore the interior, online tours are available.

3. Sequoia Park Garden and Sequoia Park Zoo

One of the best things to do in Eureka, California, is to go for a walk through Sequoia Park. You’ll find a garden, zoo exhibits featuring red pandas, trails, duck ponds, and much more.

All of this is featured within a 60-acre section of beautiful redwood forest with a variety of trails. In the Sequoia Park Garden, beautiful foliage and gazebos provide the perfect environment to unwind.

4. Clarke Historical Museum
