Welcome to Scott Air Force Base, the global mobility and transportation hub for the Department of Defense. Scott AFB manages global mobility missions around the world, as well as aeromedical evacuation, senior leader airlift, and aerial refueling capabilities for the Air Force and DOD. Scott AFB employs approximately 12,900 military and civilian personnel.
