The weather is generally sunny with light, cool sea breezes. Summers are warm and can reach into the high 90s though it is rarely humid. Inland, away from the bay and in the hills, the weather is dry, hot, and desert-like. Mornings in the spring can be very foggy with the marine layer burning off by midday.
