Welcome to Naval Air Station Jacksonville, one of the Navy’s largest and fastest-growing installations! This station is large and in charge, boasting an economic impact in the area of more than $2 billion annually. NAS Jacksonville occupies about 3,400 acres along the west bank of the beautiful St. Johns River and employs nearly 20,000 active duty and civilian personnel. This award-winning Navy base is the largest in the Southeast Region and third-largest in the nation. All Sailors reporting for in-processing at NAS Jacksonville are required to check in on the first floor of the administration office in Building 1. Expect to stay in uniform for the duration of in-processing. Bring all medical and dental paperwork, along with financial paperwork on the first day.
