Patrick AFB (Now Space Force Base) Barracks

At Patrick Space Force Base, unaccompanied housing is provided for unaccompanied Airmen who fall into the ranks of E-1, E-3, and E-4 and who have less than 3 years of service. Each Airman in unaccompanied housing will be provided with a private room for sleeping, a shared bathroom, the necessary home furnishings, bed sheets, and any other supplies required for comfortable living. However, any unaccompanied Airmen with the rank of E-4 who has more than 3 years of service will be able to move into housing in the local community. The unaccompanied housing campus at Patrick Space Force Base consists of 2 dorms. The configuration of the majority of the rooms in both dorms is room-bathroom-room. The amenities included in unaccompanied housing at Patrick Space Force Base includes a full size bed, a microwave, a refrigerator, and free basic cable TV—unaccompanied Airmen who want premium channels and internet connection must sign up and pay for them. The common areas include game rooms, a kitchen, laundry areas, storage facilities, an outdoor picnic area, a motorcycle garage, and a car wash. At Patrick Space Force Base there are no pets or overnight visitors allowed in unaccompanied housing. Additionally, all furnishings must remain fully assembled and in the room.

Upon relocating to Patrick Space Force Base, the first thing you must do is find the Military Housing Office (MHO). The MHO’s team of professionals is eager to welcome you to your new home and will be more than happy to help inform you of the housing options and support services available to you. Make certain that you take full advantage of the MHO’s expertise and services as you navigate all of the on-base housing options. In addition to answering all of your on-base housing questions, the MHO also provides counseling and guidance regarding lease agreements, housing referrals, and resolving tenant-landlord disputes.

Military family housing at Patrick Space Force Base is managed by Hunt Military Communities, which has been providing homes and family-friendly communities to military members and their families for over 40 years. We advise you to contact the Housing Management Office as soon as you know that you are moving to Patrick Space Force Base. Hunt Military Communities

Hunt Military Communities offers 616 newly renovated single-family homes in a couple different communities within Patrick Space Force Base. Each neighborhood and home-type comes with its own set of perks and amenities that will help ensure that residents feel right at home. Each home-type is also pet friendly with a two pet limit and refundable $200 deposit per pet. However, exotic pets and aggressive dog breeds are not permitted.

Amenities vary depending on the neighborhood you choose at Patrick AFB, but each of the communities will include at least some of the following:

The community of River’s Edge is made up of 3 and 4 bedroom single-family homes. This neighborhood is positioned along the river and has plenty of walking paths, along with a pool and playground in walking distance. Additionally, these homes come standard with ceiling fans, fenced yards in select homes, modern bathrooms, garage, screen patio or balcony, hardwood flooring in select homes, blinds, and more.

2. Pelican Coast

The community of Pelican Coast is made up of 3 and 4 bedroom single-family homes and boasts close proximity to beach access. Additionally, there are plenty of walking paths and playgrounds within walking distance. This neighborhood offers homes that are 1,812 square feet or more, screened in patios, utility allowances, ceiling fans, granite countertops, blinds, carpeting in select homes, security systems in select homes, two car garages, fenced yards, high-efficiency condensing gas furnace, modern bathrooms, ceramic tile, and more.
