Recycling Center

The Recycling program (Building 344) includes the recycling of aluminum and steel cans, plastics and cardboard products, scrap metal as well as paper (i.e. bond, computer, colored, folders, etc.) except for insert carbon and wet or contaminated paper. Containers for recyclable materials have been placed in high traffic areas throughout the base. All materials with the exception of sorted office paper, scrap metal and 4-way wooden pallets may be dropped off at 24-hours a day. Drop-off points for recyclable materials: 1) Mobile Center on corner of Ticonderoga and Wasp, 2) Recycling Center, Building 344. The MWR Department has been designated as the agency responsible for all recycling aboard NAVSUPPACT Mid-South. All monies generated through recycling efforts are retained by the MWR Department for use in programs and activities benefiting military personnel assigned to the Navy Mid-South Complex.
