Fort Stewart Housing OfficeThe Housing Services Office should be your first stop. This office offers relocation services and information on new duty stations (worldwide) for soldiers and their families as they get settled into their new surroundings.

For families and those of higher rank, you can contact Fort Stewart Family Homes at 1 (912) 408-2480 to check the availability of privatized housing for your rank and family size.
Fort Stewart BarracksAll single Soldiers must first report to the Marne Reception Center for in-processing on Fort Stewart. Soldiers will be assigned temporary barracks for the duration of in-processing requirements. Barracks are distributed once a soldier is assigned to a unit. Single Soldiers in the rank of private (E-1) to sergeant (E-5) are eligible to stay in the barracks. Some married soldiers may be eligible to stay in barracks under certain circumstances. To determine eligibility, contact the Marne reception center at 1 (912) 767-0115. Unaccompanied Soldiers in the rank of staff sergeant through captain are eligible to live in the Marne Point community apartments, which are managed by Balfour Beatty Communities, which also manages all privatized family housing for Stewart. Fort Stewart Housing Options
Fort Stewart Family HomesFort Stewart Family Homes is a residential community just north of Hinesville, on-base at Fort Stewart. The community has single-family, duplex, townhome and apartment-style living, from two to five bedrooms. On-post housing boasts 10 pet-friendly (even large dogs!) neighborhoods with amenities like basketball courts, community centers with fitness rooms, dog parks, playgrounds, tot lots and splash parks. Residents in Fort Stewart Family Homes can enjoy the convenience of on-site management and maintenance, curbside trash and recycling pick-up, lawn care services, and a calendar full of resident activities and events. School-age children living in Fort Stewart Family Homes can enroll and attend one of the three elementary schools found on post. These are Department of Defense schools; middle school and high school students living on post will enroll in the Liberty County School System. Fountain-Fort Carson School District 8. Note: Fort Stewart Family Homes is open for active-duty military personnel of a certain rank stationed at Fort Stewart. Select neighborhoods are open to other qualified applicants, including military retirees, DOD civilian employees, and general public applicants in select neighborhoods.
1. Coastal Ridge
Ranks: E9, O5, and above The Coastal Ridge neighborhood offers a variety of four-bedroom homes and is conveniently located within walking distance of Diamond Elementary School, as well as multiple playgrounds, walking/biking trails, and Taylors Creek Golf Course. Homes here include two-car garages, fenced-in backyards, fireplaces, and fully equipped kitchens.
2. Isenhower Terrace
Ranks: All active duty; military retirees; DOD employees; general public The Isenhower Terrace neighborhood offers two-bedroom apartments featuring central heating and air conditioning, garages, and patios. Residents in this neighborhood are within walking distance of both Murray and Diamond elementary schools and enjoy a variety of amenities, including playgrounds and tot lots, walking/biking trails, basketball court, and athletic fields. All utilities included.
3. Liberty Woods
Ranks: E1-9 The Liberty Woods neighborhood is conveniently located near Kessler Elementary School, the Fort Stewart Youth Center, and the community management office. Liberty Woods offers three- and four-bedroom townhomes with central heating and air conditioning, a fully equipped kitchen, garage, fenced-in backyard, and patio. Residents have easy access to several community amenities including playgrounds, basketball court, splash park, and walking/biking trails.
4. Marne Homes
Ranks: E1-E6; O1-O5 Marne Homes offers two-, three- and four-bedroom floor plans in both duplexes and single-family homes. Features include ample closets and storage, patio, central heating and air conditioning, fully equipped kitchen, and fenced-in backyard. This neighborhood is centrally located to base and community amenities including the PX, commissary, Club Stewart, Newman Fitness Center, Taylors Creek Golf Course, and playgrounds. It is also within walking distance of Diamond Elementary School.
5. Marne View
Ranks: W1-W6; O1-O3 Located within walking distance of Diamond Elementary School, the Marne View neighborhood includes three- and four-bedroom duplex homes featuring a two-car garage, ample closets and storage, fully equipped kitchen, fenced-in backyard, porch, and patio. For outdoor fun, Marne View features playgrounds and tot lots, walking/biking trails and is also adjacent to Taylors Creek Golf Course.
6. Marne Woods
Ranks: E1-E6 Marne Woods offers three-bedroom apartment homes that feature central heating and air conditioning, a fully equipped kitchen, patio and ample closets and storage. This neighborhood is located within walking distance of Kessler Elementary School and the Fort Stewart Youth Center and offers access to various playgrounds and walking/biking trails.
7. New Marne
Ranks: E7-E9; O1-O3 A variety of three- and four-bedroom duplex homes can be found in New Marne. Residents in this neighborhood enjoy home features that include central heating and air conditioning, a fully equipped kitchen, a two-car garage, a fenced-in backyard, and ample closets and storage. Diamond Elementary School is within walking distance and the neighborhood offers access to a variety of playgrounds and walking/biking trails.
8. North Bryan Village
Ranks: E1-E6; military retirees; DOD civilians; general public North Bryan Village offers two-, four- and five-bedroom apartment and duplex homes featuring a patio, fully equipped kitchen, ample closets and storage, and central heating and air conditioning. Conveniently located near the Fort Stewart Youth Center and Shoppette, this neighborhood also includes playgrounds and a dog park. All utilities included.
9. Southern Bryan Village
Ranks: E1-E6; military retirees; DOD civilians; general public The walkable neighborhood of South Bryan Village offers two-, three- and four-bedroom apartment and duplex-style homes that feature central heating and air conditioning, a carport, patio, and fully equipped kitchen. South Bryan Village is located within walking distance of the Shoppette and includes a variety of playgrounds, walking/biking trails, and a basketball court.
10. Southern Oaks
Ranks: E1-E6 The Southern Oaks neighborhood offers three- and four-bedroom townhomes featuring central heating and air conditioning, a fully equipped kitchen, garage, fenced-in backyard, and patio. Residents in this area enjoy several amenities just a few steps from their door, including playgrounds, splash park, basketball court, community center, fitness center, and walking/biking trails. Murray Elementary School and the AAFES Shoppette Express are also within walking distance.
