If you're planning a trip to the most significant space museum in the world, you might want some tips on how to plan your visit. There's more than enough to do, so you won't have to worry about getting bored, but there are some things to keep in mind when checking out the Huntsville Space and Rocket Center. Here is a brief list of tips that will help you have a successful day at the space museum:- The Space and Rocket Center Huntsville, Al, is open from 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. seven days a week.
- There is free parking, including R.V. and bus parking for guests.
- Over 60,000 square feet of space exists to explore, so that means a lot of walking. Visitors can bring their wheelchairs and strollers, but the museum also offers free wheelchairs and strollers. All you have to do is leave your identification card at the ticket desk.
- Group check-in is with the Daily Group Coordinator if you plan on going with a few people. Typically, group check-in is at the Davidson Center for Space Exploration. However, it's subject to change depending on arrival time.
- If you plan camping out in your R.V., the site offers full hook-ups for 30-amp power, water, and sewer. Laundry, bathroom, and shower facilities are also available.
