Introduction
Welcome to Naval Station Everett in Washington. Naval Station Everett is the most modern shore installation in the U.S. and one of only two Navy-owned deep-water ports on the continental West Coast. Naval Station Everett is home to Navy surface ships and the command staffs of Carrier Strike Group 11 and Destroyer Squadron 9. The naval station also supports Coast Guard vessels and Military Sealift Command supply vessels. These include:- Navy Family Support Complex Smokey Point, which serves military personnel, retirees, and families who live in the region.
- Naval Radio Station Jim Creek, which maintains communication with submarines in the Pacific. This station is surrounded by the 5,000-acre Jim Creek Wilderness Recreation Area, which includes a Navy-protected old-growth forest.
- Naval Facility Pacific Beach, which supports a training range for Navy aviators from Naval Air Station Whidbey Island and offers a recreation facility for Navy personnel.

Directions to Naval Station Everett
Naval Station Everett is found in the Pacific Northwest between the Puget Sound and the Cascade Range in Washington state. Located along the Possession Sound, the naval station is near the city of Everett, the largest city in Washington's Snohomish County. The San Juan Islands and Olympic Peninsula are only a short ferry ride away from the naval station. Just 25 miles south of the naval station is Seattle. Approximately 100 miles north is Vancouver, Canada. The closest major airport is Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, which is about 45 miles from the naval station.Driving Directions From Seattle-Tacoma International Airport
- From the airport, follow signs for WA-518 East/Interstate 5/Interstate 405/Seattle/Tacoma and merge onto WA-518 East.
- Take the exit on the left onto Interstate 5 North, toward Seattle. Merge onto Interstate 5 North.
- Take Exit 192 and merge onto Broadway.
- Turn left onto Everett Avenue.
- Turn right onto West Marine View Drive.
- Continue north over the viaduct. Naval Station Everett's main gate is located on the left.
